Catholics: Homosexual acts in the same category as Murder?

I was reading that homosexual acts and Murder are both Mortal Sins and are both forgiven through confession, how is it that homosexual acts are in the same category as murder?! If so, tons of millions of people who experiment with same sex in the Catholic eyes must be seen as the same way of killing someone? Please help me clarify this, I am so confused!
