It depends. If you have 5-15 people, you could make 1-3 kids together. If you have more you could have a meet and mingle. I recommend 5 groups max. In the invitations, it says, “you are invited to a party” except, on 1 invitation, it says “you are the murderer.” By the party each group gets a clue, which leads to another clue, to another, etc. After a few, the team receives a hint to the murderer each series of hints is a ’round’. After a few rounds, you have sufficient clues. But, each team has separate clues, and separate places they need to go to. Even though the hint they get at the end of the round is separate, it’s the same clue. In the end, the end of the last round, all the clues say the same thing and the finale is in only 1 envelope. The winners get a prize! The thing is, the murderer is trying to sabotage their team, to prolong the finale. You can do this, and spend hours making clues, or you can buy a game and mix and mingle. I hope this helps, I’m also trying to make my birthday party in murder mystery form.
