    hey…
i can’t make it as long as possible… if it is for history hw there is a lot of info on wikipedia nd otha sites… and i hav lots of hw myself…
    but anyway
it was basicaly the complicated alliance system which brought closer conflict between russia and germany.
franz ferdinand was the heir to austro-hungary’s throne. he was shot by the black hand- a terrorist organistation from serbia, supported by the serbian government. austro-hungary was germany’s biggest ally and they had a treaty that sed they had to protect each other. so wen austro-hungary’s heir was murdered, germany supported austro-hungary and decided they should attack serbia. russia also had a treaty with serbia which sed they had to support each other, so russia were annoyed with germany. germany was then annoyed with russia because serbia was supported by russia. this resulted in germany and russia conflicting.
    i hope this has helped
